This year I’m fixated on getting out into the ocean and rivers around Scituate. I’ve got my stand-up paddleboard all set and ready to go! I plan to fish and surf and paddle all around this summer. Maybe also take some golf lessons so I can make it 18 holes without dying of shame.

Probably my favorite part of being me is that there’s a lot to discover about me, even for me!
I was born and raised in the Midwest. I’m a Buckeye, class of 2004. I feel like I still have a Midwesterner’s pragmatism - but that’s also why I’ve moved around so much. There’s plenty of things to see and fun places to live in the world.
I lived for a time in Utah, which is a nice enough place to live for a bit, but I’m not sure I’d recommend anyone whittle away their twenties in Salt Lake City, like I did.

But, I had some great mentors, and met my wife at Overstock.com and so I look back on that era with fond memories.
But I have to start somewhere, so let’s start with the three people that bring me tons of joy, every single day: Ashley, Kieran, and Finnian.
These three know how to keep a guy humble, and busy, and definitely on my toes.
We’ve kept up to three dogs - we’re down to just two for the moment. Which is a whole different kind of challenge. Their names are Crosby, Ursa, and Luna. They’re all kinda German Shepherd Mutts, with varying flavors mixed in for each. All are high energy working breed type dogs and that’s all we ever hope to have. So our yard sometimes looks a bit unkempt. I’m not sure I’d have it any other way, if I’m being honest.
